This weekend was by far, the best weekend of the school year. It was so relaxing and friend-involved. I'll start from Friday afternoon around 3 ish.
Friday;
I call my mom and ask to go to Annie's and spend the night, she says yes.
Annie and Cody pick me up and we go to Beth's to pick her up.
We go inside and help Beth do the dishes hahh.
Then we leave and go to Annie's. Annie and Cody had to leave to go get bags of mulch? and spaghetti ingredients. So Beth and I sit in Annie's room and play Rock Band for a good hour. Then they get home and we all start playing COD 4 (: We play for a couple of hours then leave and go last minute to the OHS game (3-0!!!) Then we leave to go to Norman Binkley where we chilled for half an hour. Beth showed me her and Nikki's drawing's all over the playground, hahh. THEN we got chased by a rabid, 3 feet tall, skinny, skinny, skinny dog. So we leave and go back to Annie's. We then played COD 4 again until Cody left around 12 ish? Then I fall asleep in the guest bedroom while texting Brian, my poo bear.
Saturday;
Wake up and watched a couple of haunted movie things on ID, with Annie, Beth, and Cody. Then I had to leave to go to Carter's. They drop me off at home and I get dressed in my dark denim skinnys and a black babydoll my mom recently bought me. Carter picks me up and we drive to the mall. We get to the mall walk around for about an hour, then we left. We then started savaging for rides to the Muse. Megan tells us that she can give us a ride, then five minutes before doors open she tells us that "We can't pick you up, it'll sell out and we don't have time." So we FINALLY get a ride from the Angel named Michael Bristol! We get there and we walk up to the door and the last ticket was sold to this girl in front of us, and she says "If you're paying with cash, it's sold out." so we were like SHIT! and walked outside and chilled for a little bit. Then we saw Matt Cooper and he came and begged us for a couple of dollars. I denied it at first then I gave in to his preciousness and gave him 3 dollars to buy an After the Burial shirt. I then saw Annie and Daniel and went up and gave them hugs. Then I saw Brian, Joe, and Jeffrey and talked to them. Joe saying I told him I was fourteen, Jeffrey saying how much he wants to see Melissa in person, and Brian just not really talking. Megan is chilling over at the other bench and finally yells, "Nikki, do you have a wristband?" and I was like.. "No, you didn't pick us up so it sold out." She started pulling it over her hand and I got way too excited that words could never explain. I run inside as Caliban starts making people speak German...so I'm like wtf? Then!!!! After the MUTHAFXKIN Burial came on stage and I almost pissed myself with excitement. I start shaking in the knees and jumping up and down. They start playing (I don't remember the order...so I'm not going to ruin it by saying songs.) I realize that I'm singing along with it and I'm like "YESS!! I LOVE MY LIFEE!!" I look around to find that Brian was all the way up at the front and had left me there, but I really could care less. I was so happy to be in that tiny 13 feet by 13 feet box they call a venue, that even if I could hardly breathe, it was TOTALLY worth it. They finally played my FAVORITE songs, Aspiration & Steady Decline. When Aspiration came on this really country girl standing next to me says, "Aspiration? More like perspiration it's hot as FUCK in here!" I started laughing uncontrollably but started singing a long and making guitar squeals with my mouth. People may make fun of me for liking this music, but I love it and I will stand by it 100%. So after they played A Steady Decline & Aspiration, I couldn't take anymore. I had to get out of there. There wasn't enough oxygen to go around. I finally make it out of there and I see ANDY FROM A PLEA FOR PURGING! I see him at almost every show I go to and I asked for another picture, of course, and he agreed almost instantaniously. He loves me and Carter, we know it. Then a little bit later Brian had to leave to catch the bus so he gave me his wristband! :D I was beyond stoked. Matt Cooper also gave Carter his extra wristband. We go in for All Shall Perish and I'm amazed at how hard they were bringing it. I kept getting slammed up against the wall. It was perfect. THEN, Born of Osiris came on. I never really got that into Born of Osiris, but man...last night CHANGED MY MIND. (: The lead singer is amazingly beautiful, and he kept making eye contact with me. Which also made me get attacked by some drunk guys balls who was flying on top of me to try and scream some gibberish that wasn't even IN the song they were playing. So my toenail breaks in two, I get stomped on by a fat mexican, I get grinded on by a drunken chubster, and I see Carter falling on the floor trying to protect her phone. So I try and leave in the middle of a breakdown...DONT EVER LEAVE IN THE MIDDLE OF A BREAKDOWN. I have bruises all over me from that breakdown. Anyways I get out and I asked Cody Allen if he'd seen my friend I was with, and he said, "Yeah I think she's coming out...here I'll go find her." So he went and found her and he came outside and talked with us about boobs until Bristol came and picked us up. (: We then got home and made BEAUTIFUL art, which I will post a picture of. (I'll post pictures on this blog in chronological order. xD) We fell asleep watching Night of the Demons.
Today;
We wake up to Jodi's mom sounding really nervous on Carter's answering machine. When in reality, she just wanted Carter to come over and finish the Art project like right away. We then pull out the Rock Band drums and I play for like an hour and a half while she tried to make her harmonica fit in with the music. Then we start making our other painting, but Jodi called and said that they were on their way to Carter's. So I had to get all my crap together and walk 5 miles to my house. I got home, took a cold shower, and now here I am. (:
